Back home...

I’m back to Spain… back home.
But it doesn’t seem home any more.
I made a home out of a little city in the United States and a College named Pitzer.
And I made a family out of a group of international students.
A family out of YOU.

I won’t say that I’ll miss you and I won’t say that it won’t be the same without you all next semester.
THAT’S OBVIOUS.

But instead, I’ll tell you how much you meant for me and how important you were and probably WILL BE in my life.

You made my life happier…

You made me wiser…

You made me be a little bit crazier than I already was…

You reinvented the name of my mother's hometown (village) and language…

You made me pass out laughing…

You made me feel part of something, something BIG…

You made me be natural…

… even in the most awkward situations…

(I think Thembeka knows what I mean)

You were the devil in my shoulder…

(and my procrastination/library fellows ^^)

… the angel in my life.

YOU made me find myself in a way I didn’t expect at all.

For all this and MUCH MORE, THANK YOU!

I just hope to be able to see some of you again!
I'm not worried about some people... All I have left is to buy the plane ticket...
But still, you should know that you are welcome at any time in Spain!

Bueno gentecilla, ahí va mi despedida de los internacionales de este semestre... no será lo mismo sin ellos... estaré por el país hasta el día 17... espero veros por ahí... en unas horas me voy a Villablino (no puedo dormir por el jet lag... que le vamos a hacer). Nos vemos pues!
